Ferries of the British Isles Including Ireland, the Channel Islands and cross-Channel ferries

I lived in Britain until 1979, and have visited often since then. The occasional ferry ride was a way of life and often didn't warrant a photo, especially back when each picture cost money. So this is just a personal record, with minimal information and very variable picture quality. Just ferries I've used or watched.
Ferries cross boundaries. So it is not easy to classify them according to country, when they often connect one counry to another. So my choice of where I list each ferry is somewhat arbitary, and obviously influenced by my being born and bred in England.
